It's always nice to see this sort of thing take place. On October the 7th, the Video Game Orchestra will be appearing at the Boston Symphony Hall to place video game music from some of your favorite classics. Such classics include Final Fatasy, Chrono Trigger, Grandia, Kingdom Hearts, Metal Gear Solid, and last but certainly not least, music from the Castlevania game series. Now won't that be a real treat. Tickets start out at $40.50, then $52.50, $64.50 and finally you can get V.I.P tickets for $100, which allows you to meet and greet with the four composers who will be playing for you. Composers include Yoko Shimomura (Kingdom Hearts), Hitoshi Sakimoto (Final Fantasy XII), Noriyuki Iwadare (Grandia) and Kinuyo Yamashita (Castlevania)

If interested you can get tickets for the performance by heading to the source article located at VGO, which I believe is the official home page for the Video Game Orchestra. I wish I could go myself, and get in the front row. Listening to game music from Metal Gear Solid and Castlevania, as well as others, is something I've always wanted to witness and hear. In the meantime, you can check out some past experiences from the Video Game Orchestra. The top one is a Castlevania Medley, Vampire Killer, the bottom one features music from the Metal Gear Solid games. Have fun.
