The Japanese, who are also fans of the Silent Hill series will get a taste of Konami's latest horror title this coming November the 8th. It was certainly a rough start for Konami games development as the new Silent Hill game Downpour has seen its fair share of patches and fixes, something that has plagued it for a while now. Now here is the kicker,....Silent Hill Downpour will only be released on the PS3 game system and not on the Xbox 360. Why?, because Japan has no respect for Microsoft and they never buy Xbox games.
Remember a time when it was just Sega, and Nintendo? Or Sega, Sony, and Nintendo? The inclusion of a game system from Microsoft that's based on PC hardware didn't set in too well with Japan, or even some folks around the world. It just didn't seem right. Microsoft dominated the computer market, and now they wanted to dominate the console market. Do you blame Japan for not wanting any part of it and Konami not releasing the new Silent Hill game for Xbox 360? I don't.
