A bit more coverage on Castlevania "Harmony of Despair" and who will be playable in it

Found a bit more in depth info and artwork regarding the new Castlevania Harmony of Despair. Just a few days ago I mentioned that 2 characters were just added for download. Julius Belmont and Yoko Belnades from Castlevania game Dawn of Sorrow, the first Castlevania to come out on the Nintendo DS. If you head over to 1up you'll see what I mean. Castlevania Harmony of Despair still hasn't seen a hint that Maria Renard from Rondo of Blood is making a debut, but there is hope. Def Jam Rapstar gets released in United Kingdom with some cool music to boot

Remember back in October Def Jam Rapstar saw its release in North America?, Now its the UK's turn for a release. The hit Konami game DJR has released in UK so they too can have a taste of this new hip hop music title for all three systems, PS3, Xbox360 and Nintendo Wii. Def Jam Rapstar offers a unique experience for music lovers as it also has launched a social networking site at DefJamRapstar. Somewhat of a competitive nature of who can rap the best. Def Jam is basically hailed as a rap based karaoke Konami game and makes good use of the Xbox360 Kinect sensor. As a software only title, Def Jam Rapstar will cost you around 49.99 GBP, while the Nintendo Wii version will run a bit less at 39.99. Trailer for Tron: Legacy unlocked using old Konami code that was used on games like Contra and Gradius

Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A. Remember that old Konami code? The old Contra game used it as well as LifeForce and Gradius. Nokia has ran a viral game on their blog site for the N series phone that unlocks a trailer to the upcoming Tron: Legacy movie that debuts December 17th. The trailer wasn't listed on YouTube and after enough players entered the famous "up-up-down-down-left-right-left-right-B-A" Konami game code it then becomes available. The trailer features a more in depth look at how Kevin Flynn fits into the world of Tron as well as the first footage of a light jet dog fight. Otomedius Excellent "Boob Shooter" will be brought to North America soon

I thought Parodius was a little strange. This one takes the Konami game Parodius and gives it a 1up. Otomedius Excellent has been hailed as a shooter where "Gradius meets boobs". Gee I wonder why? If you look at the screen shots and watch the trailer you'll get an understanding of why. It was originally scheduled to be released in Japan this year, but like the last Otomedius game, Konami has delayed it for whatever reason. What's interesting is they also plan to publish the game in North America. This could be a matter of ethics and as always I'll leave the courting of opinion up to you on what you think about it.  This Konami game title might need to put some more clothes on the characters before a North American release can see daylight. Black Friday brings Castlevania Encore of the Night to your Iphone and Ipad for less than a dollar

It's not the Castlevania your used to, this one definitely has an interesting twist to it. This Black Friday sale brings Castlevania Puzzle: Encore of the Night to your Ipod and Iphone for a sale price of just under a dollar, $0.99. What's so special about it?, I'll leave that up to you but it's basically a mix of Castlevania Symphony of the Night meets a puzzle game, and this is the offspring. You're using Alucard, Son of Dracula in this versus puzzle fighter type game where you travel through Dracula's castle and advance with each boss you defeat in order to reach Vlad himself. Encore of the Night features both a story and arcade mode to choose from with over 20 hours of game play time. Not too bad for a Castlevania game Puzzle title on your touch screen. Castlevania Harmony of Despair on Xbox Live Arcade gets 2 new characters for you to use during game play

You heard right, Xbox Live Arcade fans can rejoice because the new Castlevania Harmony of Despair has seen its rumors about two new characters that are being introduced and here they are. Yoko Belnades and Julius Belmont. Remember them? Think back to the very first Castlevania game to come out on the Nintendo DS, Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. Now those guys have joined Harmony of Despair and they can be yours for the price of 240 MS Points. HOD gives you and five others control over characters from previous Castlevania game titles including some artwork from other titles like Order of Ecclesia, Dawn of Sorrow, and Portrait of Ruin to name a few.

Now each of these 2 new characters like all heroes has pros and cons, Yoko it a bit weak on physical attacks but makes up for it with magic. Julius Belmont on the other hand is more about physical attacks in which he uses his whip, and it not only has a pretty long reach, but also doubles as a grappling hook for swinging around, kind of like how you did in Super Castlevania IV on the Super Nintendo. He also boasts other traditional attacks such as daggers and so fourth. One of my personal favorite characters is the Goth heroin from Castlevania game Order of Ecclesia, while my favorite Castlevania game in general is Castlevania Symphony of the Night. Adrenalin Misfits for the Xbox 360 Kinect addresses a bit of a younger audience but is still a fun title to play

As more and more Kinect games start emerging, your probably asking yourself which ones are worth your time and money. Of course that's what reviews are for, be that as it may. There is now a Konami game out that seems to be fitting for a younger audience, that game is Adrenalin Misfits, and the guys at DigitalTrends have done a pretty in depth review covering the pros and cons of it. I myself never tell you what I think of a game, I try to ask you what you think and what that title needs improvement on. I find it a very balanced frame of mind. Anyway, have fun checking the review out. Konami has a tendency to release otherworldly games sometimes. This particular game seems to fit the bill.

Konami unveils Virtual Space in Playstation Home area for fans to make use of

Today Konami shows off its rooftop penthouse suite in PlayStation®Home which will feature many various things such as twitter feeds, commercial shops, mini games and more. Konami titles like Dance Dance Revolution are also making a debut as a mini game where players can gather and have group dance offs and solo dance offs, something that hasn't happened before on this type of format. The Virtual Space is also offering fans an invitation by Konami themselves to spend the holiday weekend at an open house, which will also feature a self guided tour.

What's really nice is the fact that the more time players spend in space, the more points they can earn to unlock content for big Konami hits such as Castlevania, Metal Gear Solid, Pro Evolution Soccer, and Silent Hill. This is all taking place starting tomorrow on Thanksgiving, Konami wants to kick start it off by giving its fans content that can't be gotten elsewhere and to pay homage to its hit game releases. Konami producer Shinta Nojiri will be taking charge over NeverDead project soon

Here is another post regarding NeverDead, this one seems a bit more recent. Konami game producer Shinta Nojiri has stated that he is calling the shots in NeverDead while working in conjunction with Rebellion. And we now know something else, NeverDead is going to based completely on a Western audience. I'm betting this particular Konami game is going to be a big seller in North America and Europe. There is a much greater in depth coverage of NeverDead done over at NowGamer if you like. The site also contains a number of screen shots and a trailer video of NeverDead, I think the same one that was released last June after the E3 show. More information on NeverDead - A new 3D shooter for PS3 and Xbox360 head your way soon

It's about time for some more information on NeverDead, scheduled to come out on the PS3 and Xbox360. The game is being developed by Aliens vs. Predator developer, Rebellion along with Shinta Nojiri. If you remember Shinta Nojiri, the former director of Metal Gear Acid, he and some fellow teammates have joined forces to work on this title. What gets me is the main character, he is immortal and he can lose any limb, legs, arms, even his head, and still not die.
