This might sound like an all new Konami game, but it isn't. In fact, this is considered a hidden treasure for the Nintendo Wii from years ago, 2009 to be precise. Little King's Story is one of those hard to come by unique type games that the world really needs more of, kind of like how the Parodius series was perceived by some shoot em up fans out there. This somewhat of a re-release of Little King's Story is actually an updated version of the first one, except this time you can now take it on the road with you via your Playstation Vita system.
As King Corobo, your precious kingdom becomes destroyed for some odd reason and you are then given the task of rebuilding it all from scratch. The problems come in the fact that while doing so, you also have to tend to the needs of the people. This kind of reminds me of an advanced version of the rebuilding of towns and cities that took place in Actraiser years ago on the Super Nintendo, although a bit cuter in appearance.
Properly called "New Little King's Story", it features some downloadable content, and a type of co-operative alchemy mode to use. It's just nice to see gems like this one make it out on the Playstation Vita, since that format has been lacking some quality games lately. Even though this one is basically a second release of an older game, it's a welcome addition to a Vita library that could definitely use some new faces.
