Do you like getting teased? Well perhaps you don't, but this likely isn't a tease, as even Hideo Kojima himself has posted recently a Tweet that rather confirms this nugget of news. One of the things that the Metal Gear Solid collection has lacked, is a complete set of all MGS games. If you remember, the HD collection didn't have the original Metal Gear Solid game with it. That was somewhat of a let down. It looks like there is some hope in the horizon, as a new set called the Legacy Collection is fixing to hit the scene for the PS3 console soon. A Korean ratings site has listed it, shortly after Kojima had posted a Tweet about it, and it looks like even Guns of the Patriots might even be apart of the mix. Below if you look at the poster, it shows different versions of Solid Snake, from the young original Snake, to Naked Snake, and old Snake.
This must be the big year for Metal Gear fans, as last year we had the official 25th anniversary (happy birthday!) of the MG saga, and this year we are looking down the muzzle of two Fox Engine backed open world Metal Gear Solid games, Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain, both of which are a part of the same storyline, but two separate games. That's a first for Konami isn't it? There is no concrete evidence of the Legacy Collection being the real deal, other than Hideo Kojima posting about it, which really should be enough, but you can check out his Tweet along with the Korean rating site that has it listed here. This is a rather unusual tease isn't it? Assuming that it is one. We really do need a complete Metal Gear Solid compilation, which also includes Peace Walker and the original Solid games with it.
