Did I say girlfriend simulator? I guess I did, because guess what? They do exist in some form or another. LovePlus is no exception to the rule. What started out a few years ago on formats like the Nintendo DS, has grown and expanded beyond a lot of peoples expectation. How about when it was introduced, selling over 250,000 copies and still growing? You might not think a girlfriend simulator would catch that much attention and yet it did. Well this time around things are getting even better with Konami's LovePlus Collection fixing to hit the scene across various social networking sites out there. Rumor also has it that the production team behind LovePlus is adding two additional girls to the mix. One of them is supposed to be a bit of a troublemaker from what I've heard, but then again you need different personalities for different game styles.
Today also marks the day for pre registration for those of you who want to get in on the cute girl fun, as it will earn you special rewards after the game makes its debut this spring. Japan owners will see LovePlus Collection on their smartphones and various other mobile formats in just a short while. This new version features "card based" action, a rather new concept for the series to feast on. There has been a new "fourth" girlfriend added this time around as well, and she is supposed to be somewhat of a mischievous type of girl, you know, a bit of a troublemaker. This is one of those types of girls that's hard to find that certain charm to win her over if you know what I mean. Akari Uchida is one of the main brains behind the series and when LovePlus Collection makes its debut shortly, it'll be interesting to see what new elements have been added this time when girlfriends meet card based games. Sounds like a winning duo to me. Now for those of you who are new to this sort of thing, check out a couple of videos below to get an idea if a girlfriend simulator is something that rubs you the right way.
