One thing Konami development is good at is hurling teases at us, which they have a tendency to do with popular hit titles like the Metal Gear series. You remember the mega hit Peace Walker don't you? That was one PSP title that was on many gamers wishlist, as it was on mine. Now that we have the PS Vita system out there, some are wondering if there will be a released HD version for that as well. To answer that, you have to throw a teasing statement under the microscope that Konami made in regards to the matter.
"You may see MSF infiltrate the Vita in the near future. Stay tuned!"
That was from Dalton Link, Social Media Manager at Konami recently. Yes, I know what your asking yourself right now, what in the world is MSF? Let's take a look at those initials. MSF stands for Militaires Sans Frontières, or Soldiers Without Borders. It's a private military based company that was started by "Big Boss". Now with that being said, understand one thing. The MSF was something that was in Peace Walker quite a bit, which is a clear signal that Konami is likely talking about that particular Metal Gear game. It's definitely on the right track if you think about it. As it stands right now, you can only play Peace Walker on either the PSP, or if you want an HD version of it, you'll have to get the Metal Gear Solid HD collection for the Playstation 3 console. But the prospect of a PS Vita version of it is certainly a welcome treat. Let's hope that's what Konami has in mind.
