Is it just me, or is the world of Dance Dance Revolution making a serious comeback? First DDR landed into the classrooms of multiple schools with Konami games development releasing the "Classroom Edition", with that whole United Health Care fight against childhood obesity. Now Dance Dance Revolution has gone portable once again, this time with a new title for your iOS iPhone called "Dance Wars". As with all DDR gamers, you can go head to head with a friend or rival, that is, 3 others besides yourself can go against another crew as a Dance Battle, or you can do what's called an Event Battle. That's where you can go against some cool looking bosses in order to gain recognition, fame, and win some neat accessories.
If choose to do so, you can also do a solo mode and have your own personal Dance Battle by yourself, something that comes in handy if your on the go and out somewhere where it's just you alone. DDR Dance Battle is currently unavailable in the UK, but you can get it in the U.S. as of right now. It's located on the official app store where the rest of the goodies are found. You can head there right now and get it as a FREE download straight to your iPhone, ready to play, and won't cost you a dime. Although there are a few IAP's within the game, if you can overlook that, free sounds like a good deal for us DDR fans.
