It looks like it's definitely not going to stop with the latest Yu-Gi-Oh! release of Onslaught of the Fire Kings Structure Deck, which was released nationwide on March 8th. Konami games development will be showcasing some other new sets for the series as well, starting today February 10th - 13th. The new sets on display are located at the American International Toy Fair at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. According to Yumi Hoashi, who is Vice President of  Card Business for Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc., recently stated:

"Attending Toy Fair lets us engage our customers in a face-to-face environment making it the ideal place to highlight our Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME releases for the first half of the year. Our 2013 line-up was developed with both new players and seasoned Duelists in mind."

Let's start with the first set that hit store shelves yesterday. The animated series for Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL saw its released set on March 8th. It features three Ultimate Rare variants of existing cards, plus 11 all-new cards from a special, 21-card set. The MSRP is set at $9.99. This March 22nd will see the release of the "Cosmo Blazer Special Edition", which will feature a booster pack containing a Super rare card, a special champion-chip level card, all for an MSRP of $9.99. On April 19th, fans can look forward to "Hidden Arsenal 7: Knight of Stars", which features a powerful 70 card foil set, each set will run an MSRP of $3.99 per pack. In May Konami will release Zexal sleeves, as well as a powerful 100 card booster set for "Lord of the Tachyon Galaxy", which introduces new cards for Fire Fist, Mermail and Spellbook Decks. "Number 107: Galaxy Eyes Tachyon Dragon" also gets an introduction as well. Each 9 card pack will run $3.99.

Moving on into June, and this is for you beginners out there who have either just started into the world of Yu-Gi-Oh! for the first time, or who have simply been into it for a short while now and need a bit of an upper edge when dueling others. It's called the "Super Starter" set, which contains two, five card expansion packs that are not only easy to learn, but fun for beginners to use. The set MSRP price for it will be $12.99. Fans can also expect to see a June release of "Battle Pack 2", a pack designed to be split up evenly among players, as it is designed for sealed pack play. You get together with your friends and rivals, mix them up, open them, and make all new decks! These puppies will run an MSRP of $1.99 per pack, which is well worth the cost for fans who want to spice things up a bit.

Finally, moving on into August we have yet ANOTHER 100 card booster set called "Judgment of the Light", which not only introduces Number 39: Utopia Ray Victory, but also reintroduces those almighty Synchro Monsters that are stronger than before. You can expect a purchase price of $3.99 per pack for those babies. Also keep in mind that some prices are subject to change before their release dates.

Fans can tune in every Saturday morning in the United States for both the new Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL animated series on Vortexx on the CW, which is the leading kids network in the U.S. You might have heard of other shows while flipping channels like Dragon Ball Z Kai and Sonic X. Fans in Canada can get to watch the same thing every Friday and Saturday on YTV! If you want even more information on Konami and Yu-Gi-Oh!, you can head to the official site for Yu-Gi-Oh! located at www.yugioh-card.com. That site also has your country of origin in case you need information in your area.

What the heck is Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG and why should I care?

Simply put, Yu-Gi-Oh! is a card battling game where you use monster, spell, and trap based cards to duel against your opponents monsters. You win the battle once you drop your opponent's life force down to 0. The official rulebook is a must have for newbies to the series. For a free download of it, head over to the official download page for the Yu-Gi-Oh! rulebook located at www.yugioh-card.com/en/rulebook/index.html

You're also going to need Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to view the rulebook. I think that just about covers every single thing that's happening with this lately. Any more and I'll surely post about it here as soon as I catch wind of it. Stay tuned.
