Yes, it's the 25th anniversary of the Metal Gear series, and Hideo Kojima this week on August 30th at the Metal Gear game franchise's 25th birthday event, it has been said that what is going to be presented there is going to shake the industry. This is according to piece at Kotaku yesterday. Now the deep level question is this,.....is Hideo Kojima going to show off Metal Gear Solid 5? That's probably just wishful thinking. They are probably going to reveal the new Fox Engine in action or show off some new technology they've been working on for a while. Perhaps in turn displaying how the future of Konami games will look like when they hit our home consoles one day. In either case, it's just a few short days until that takes place and we finally see what Kojima has been hiding up his sleeves all this time.
