A lot of you have probably already played all the way through the game and uncovered most or all items and secrets and are probably asking yourself, is that all there is to it? Not by a long shot, as this new DLC that was just released yesterday on the Playstation Network has many new items and features for you to enjoy within it. 10 New Playable Characters
50 New Outfits

That's quite and extensive list for the very first downloadable content pack released for Book of Memories, and the price tag set for it so far will run you $4.99 for all  120 items on that list, which doesn't seem too bad a price. A release date has been set for Silent Hill Book of Memories in Japan

Thứ Bảy, 24 tháng 11, 2012 | 0 nhận xét

While North America is enjoying a taste of the new Silent Hill Book of Memories on their Playstation Vita systems, Japan won't be left out of the picture, as a release date has now been set for it. February 14th 2013 Japanese gamers will get to experience Book of Memories for themselves, and oh did I mention it was February 14th? Yes, Valentines day. A horror game is getting released the same day couples renew their love vows. Of course that's just a coincidence, as it also is just 5 short days away from the anticipated release of the next Metal Gear game Rising Revengeance. Silent Hill Book of Memories isn't quite like the Silent Hill we've known over the years. This is more action oriented and features a 3/4 top down view perspective, an element you might not be used to, at least with past Silent Hill game titles. Here below is one of the better video trailers to showcase what its like. It's actually a game walk through strategy video and should give you a clear representation of what's in store for you should you decide to pick this one up at the store sometime.

Silent Hill Book of Memories will release in Japan next February 14th on PS Vita

Thứ Sáu, 16 tháng 11, 2012 | 0 nhận xét

Japanese fans of the Silent Hill series rejoice. This coming February 14th, it'll be your turn to experience the new Silent Hill Book of Memories on the PS Vita hand held system. The cover art is even better than the North American cover in my opinion, and for around 5,980 yen, your copy will be in your hands as well. Now here is the interesting part, isn't February 14th on Valentines day? Yeah, I believe it is. So a horror game gets released on the same day that couples renew their love vows. Just an observation for you to chew on, as also 5 days later we here in North America will also see the release on the long awaited new Metal Gear game Rising Revengeance, plus Limited Edition copy, for those of you who ordered it. Anyway, check out the cover art for Book of Memories, and if you haven't watched one of latest videos for it, feel free to watch that as well and comment on what you think of it and the cover art. Enjoy.

The new Silent Hill Book of Memories is finally released and ready for a Vita launch

Thứ Tư, 17 tháng 10, 2012 | 0 nhận xét

Delay after delay after delay, we finally have arrived at October the 17th. This is the day that the new Silent Hill game Book of Memories is released in North America for the Playstation Vita Hand held system. Now fans of the Silent Hill game series can take the new horror experience on the road with them in all its glory. I talk about delay, but I believe it did get delayed a total of four times if I'm not mistaken. But that becomes necessary when Konami games development has to get it just right, and make sure all the elements are there to enjoy. This is likely the start of a hand held series, as this probably won't be the last Silent Hill for the Vita system.

On another note, don't forget that we are less than 10 days until the box office release of the new Silent Hill movie Revelation 3D on the big screen. That comes out on October 26th, just a few days shy of Halloween. Speaking of which, have any of you been to the Halloween Horror Nights attraction yet?, you know the Silent Hill game based attraction? I hear its been getting some positive results with customers. Now check out the video below and tell me what you think of it, it's a 21 minute walk through during Zone 2 and depicts what it should be like. Now from what I understand about a year ago there was an uproar over Book of Memories and how awful people thought it might be. Now that it's out, some of those attitudes may have changed. I've seen mixed reviews so far, but you can draw your own conclusion.

Hands on with the new Silent Hill Book of Memories demo for PSVita, but how does it stack up?

Thứ Hai, 1 tháng 10, 2012 | 0 nhận xét

It's out, and about time too. We've been waiting a long time to see what the new Silent Hill game Book of Memories is like, and now there is an exclusive hands on review of the new demo for PSVita done for it. If you check out the source page located at DieHardGameFan done today, you'll see they have a pretty extensive review made depicting the elements of the game, how it plays, responds, what to expect as far as fighting, puzzle solving, and so fourth. The new Silent Hill game has seen more than its share of delays and more delays, but now that the demo is out, we can at least see what we're getting for our money, and the review is somewhat favorable of it.

I was expecting decent results, Book of Memories is sort of being hailed as a having the element of Diablo behind it, or rather in the way it looks or feels. It's starting to look like this is going to be the horror game of choice for PSVita owners out there, something the PSVita is in serious lack of. You can expect to see the final release of the new Silent Hill game this month on October 16th, which is so far the official confirmed release date that Konami games development has set for it. Let's hope that doesn't change, again.

Silent Hill game fans can now rejoice, because the new Silent Hill game Book of Memories demo is being released by Konami tomorrow out on the PSVita hand held system. In the new demo, you will be able to have access to the first two areas of the game, one character will be selectable, and a few enemies and weapons from throughout the game will be accessible as well. Book of Memories was originally supposed to be released months ago, but as usual thanks to delays and some issues, it was pushed back until sometime in October, likely the latter half of October. With the new upcoming Silent Hill game based movie called Revelation 3D, perhaps the new Silent Hill game itself will see a release around that same time frame.
