Download dates confirmed for Metal Gear Solid HD collections and will be hitting the store shelves soon enough

Konami game headquarters has now confirmed the download dates for the Metal Gear Solid HD editions for Metal Gear Solid 2 Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater, and Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker. This is for all 3 systems including Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita. Here are the dates for all of them:

      August 21st:

• METAL GEAR SOLID 2: SONS OF LIBERTY - HD Edition (PS Vita)
• METAL GEAR SOLID 3: SNAKE EATER - HD Edition (PS Vita)
• METAL GEAR SOLID 2: SONS OF LIBERTY - HD Edition (PS3)
• METAL GEAR SOLID 3: SNAKE EATER - HD Edition (PS3)
• METAL GEAR SOLID - HD Collection ? MGS2 + MGS3 (X360) ? Games On Demand release

       August 28th:

• METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER (PS3)
• METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER (X360) ? Games on Demand Release
• METAL GEAR SOLID - HD Collection Bundle ? MGS2+3+PW (PS3)

Metal Gear Solid collection in HD gets some criticism about the lack of Peace Walker

Even though I myself am a huge Konami game fan, (gee, I wonder what gave it away) I still try to post everything I can find, even if it isn't always favorable. Like this for example, the Metal Gear Solid HD collection for PS Vita. WHAT HAPPENED TO PEACE WALKER? The same type of question was also asked about the console Metal Gear game collection. That question was why did Konami include Metal Gear Solid 2, 3, and Peace Walker but not the original Metal Gear Solid along with it. I understand how you feel and it gets frustrating because without the original Metal Gear game how would you come to understand what was going on in Metal Gear Solid 2? Criticisms like this are a necessary thing because what it does is it gives a cry out to Konami and if they hear it, hopefully the next time the customer will get everything they wanted. That also includes some downloadable content, because it seems the console version of the Metal Gear game collection received a bit more DLC than the PS Vita version did.

Still, on the plus side, the new Metal Gear game collection is a nice addition to have, especially when your always on the go and need some portable Konami game goodness to bring with you. Konami releases Metal Gear Solid HD collection for PSVita, time to take a very long road trip right?

More news on the Metal Gear Solid HD collection for Vita coming soon

Here is something interesting to know. With the upcoming Metal Gear Solid collection in HD containing Metal Gear Solid Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater, we already know that Peace Walker will not be included in with it, which has many infuriated at Konami for not doing so. But there is another nice addition that's known, there will be a fully remastered version of the original Metal Gear game from years ago. You will be able to download the original remastered Metal Gear game with a code that Konami will include in the package. The Playstation 3 versions will have support for PSN Trophies, but so far it doesn't look like Konami will include that with the Vita versions of each Metal Gear game. Konami announces launch date for Metal Gear Solid HD collection coming soon to PSVita

Many people are waiting eagerly for the upcoming Metal Gear Solid HD collection on the Playstation Vita. The same folks also demand to know when it's being released. Konami has now announced a June 12th launch date so Metal Gear game fans won't have to wait much longer for some Solid Snake goodness on their Vita system. For those of you who might not know yet, this new collection will feature two classic Metal Gear game titles which are Metal Gear Solid Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater, both of which are in HD. Among the new control features are the transfarring system to synchronize save files with the PS3. With the transfarring feature you of course will have to own a copy of the Metal Gear game collection for the PS3 system as well as the Vita version. Metal Gear Solid collection in HD gets a trailer and release date set for it

Finally, Konami has now released a trailer and release date for the anticipated Metal Gear Solid HD collection. After watching it myself I can't wait to play it on the PS Vita system. So without further delay here are the release dates for each part of the world. The North American release will be out on June 12th, and Japan will get theirs on June 28th, followed by Europe seeings its Metal Gear release the next day on the 29th. Metal Gear Solid HD collection gets a hands on review with an exclusive all out compilation

More of a hands on review this time for the Metal Gear Solid HD collection. As stated before, Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater and Metal Gear Solid 2 Sons of Liberty is among them but sadly Konami chose not to include the PSP hit Metal Gear game Peace Walker, which is a sad day for Metal Gear Solid game fans alike.

Konami shows off new screen shots for Metal Gear Solid collection that was redone in HD

New Konami hits on the horizon, well new as in redone in HD format. Konami has released new screen shots for the Metal Gear Solid collection for HD, which is to be launched in the UK this summer. As stated before the new Metal Gear game collection will feature the classic Solid Snake, Raiden, and you can share PSN trophies with the Metal Gear game collection for the Playstation 3 system as well. Konami to bring Metal Gear Solid collection in HD to PS Vita this coming summer

Now this is nice, the Metal Gear collection in HD for the PS Vita is heading to you this summer. Now for the bad news. Metal Gear Solid "Peace Walker" is the one that will not be in that collection. So what Konami games will be in it? Metal Gear Solid 2 Sons of Libery and Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater. Konami so far has not stated what will be the fate of Peace Walker although you also currently can't get it on PSN as a PSP title either. That's one Metal Gear game I would like Konami to make available on my Vita.

Are Metal Gear Solid remakes coming soon to your PS3? They just might be if you're lucky.

How would you like it if Konami, Sony and UbiSoft joined together and brought the first three Metal Gear game titles in the form of a remake out on the PS3 system, complete with an overhaul and upgrade of course. Well this is not a fact as of yet, only a rumor according to a news piece done at EscapistMagazine. There seem to be rumors floating around that the Metal Gear game for the PS1, Metal Gear Solid 2 Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater might be in the works and headed to the PS3 system. God only knows how long if there is any truth to it. Among the rumors are that the Konami games will put all 3 Metal Gear game hits onto one Blue Ray disc, which would be nice. The new question remains if this is at all true, could the Silent Hill game universe be next?
