Play the new Castlevania before it gets released, as Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate gets an eShop demo

Are you eager to play the new Castlevania Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate on the Nintendo 3DS? I thought so, and you won't have to wait until March 5th in order to get to play it. Mirror of Fate will get an early demo released on Nintendo's eShop section for those of you who want to sink your fangs into the new Castlevania before its launch date. This is according to producer Dave Cox, the head of the Mercury Steam team that is developing the new title. Dave is also head of the development team that did the original Castlevania Lords of Shadow, and now again with its sequel Lords of Shadow 2. Also as I stated in a previous post the other day, sadly Dave Cox has also stated that there will be "no chance" for a Wii-U version of Mirror of Fate, which is something of a disappointment to quite a number of Nintendo fans out there.

As of right now, there is no exact date set for the early demo release of Castlevania Mirror of Fate, but as soon as I catch wind of it I will post about it here as always. You can expect to see the North American release of Mirror of Fate this coming March 5th, while Europe will see its release just a few short days afterwards on March 8th. The character lineup in Mirror of Fate includes Simon, Trevor, and Gabriel Belmont. Alucard also is a playable character as well, which is really cool since we Castlevania fans have really missed him since the days of Symphony of the Night back in the PS1 era. Stay tuned.

Castlevania Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate gets a brand new trailer and more details

Happy Halloween!, and here is a Halloween treat for you. We've all been waiting eagerly for quite a while now for more details about the latest in development Castlevania Mirror of Fate. We now have that within our grasps, because here is a brand spanking new video trailer for you to watch and enjoy, which also answers some hard core questions out there about who will be playable and who not. As it turns out, Gabriel Belmont has now joined the Mirror of Fate lineup, along with Alucard, Simon Belmont, and Trevor Belmont. So we have a total of four awesome characters to choose from in Mirror of Fate, along with the video trailer below showcasing some cool game play to boot.

As with Lords of Shadow, Robert Carlyle will once again be the almighty voice of Gabriel Belmont, while Alec Newman and Richard Madden will be the voices behind the mask of Simon Belmont and Trevor Belmont. So far as it stands right now, we only know that Castlevania Mirror of Fate is set for a scheduled release of early 2013, as no exact date has been set yet by Mercury Steam development team. After watching the video below, I'm impressed with what's in store for us so far. The level and character design alone is magnificent to say the least. Mercury Steam is definitely doing right by the Castlevania game series.
