You heard right, Xbox Live Arcade fans can rejoice because the new Castlevania Harmony of Despair has seen its rumors about two new characters that are being introduced and here they are. Yoko Belnades and Julius Belmont. Remember them? Think back to the very first Castlevania game to come out on the Nintendo DS, Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. Now those guys have joined Harmony of Despair and they can be yours for the price of 240 MS Points. HOD gives you and five others control over characters from previous Castlevania game titles including some artwork from other titles like Order of Ecclesia, Dawn of Sorrow, and Portrait of Ruin to name a few.
Now each of these 2 new characters like all heroes has pros and cons, Yoko it a bit weak on physical attacks but makes up for it with magic. Julius Belmont on the other hand is more about physical attacks in which he uses his whip, and it not only has a pretty long reach, but also doubles as a grappling hook for swinging around, kind of like how you did in Super Castlevania IV on the Super Nintendo. He also boasts other traditional attacks such as daggers and so fourth. One of my personal favorite characters is the Goth heroin from Castlevania game Order of Ecclesia, while my favorite Castlevania game in general is Castlevania Symphony of the Night.
