If you pre order Castlevania Mirror of Fate it will land you a cool 3DS case

Castlevania fans will rejoice over this one, because it's so darn cool. If you pre order the next Castlevania game Mirror of Fate then your reward is going to be a nice looking 3DS case, complete with awesome graphics and characters on the front. Trevor, Simon Belmont, and the DanPeal Alucard we all know and want to see more of. After Symphony of the Night we couldn't get enough of him. You can now play as him in Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate, as well as 3 other characters.

The current known release date set for Mirror of Fate in Europe is March 2013, and since GameStop and Amazon both have that same date set for the North America, I can only assume at the moment that date is also true. That is, of course, unless Mercury Steam changes it.

Castlevania Mirror of Fate gets a release date finally set for it

This is more like a month, than an exact date, but it's definitely worth talking about. We haven't heard in quite a while is any update regarding an official release date for the next Castlevania game Mirror of Fate. That has finally changed thanks to a Twitter update from Nintendo themselves, as this is of course, a 3DS release.

The set date is the month of March 2013, and as it stands right now, that only applies to Europe. Mercury Steam hasn't officially set that date, nor has a date been set for North America either. But both Amazon and GameStop have set a March date for North America as well. So we can only assume that it will be a worldwide release in that time frame. As always, when something concrete gets relayed, I will post it here as usual.

Frontier Gate is making another return with same developer Tri-Ace

Did you ever play Star Ocean? If so, then the name Tri-Ace might ring a bell for you. They created it and Konami wanted them to develop a game called Frontier Gate. That one was not only a hit title, but Tri-Ace is being brought back by Konami again to give it an upgrade. This one is going to be simply called Frontier Gate +, a rather updated version of the original, and this time around you will have an increased level cap, more quests, equipment and other elements added to it. For those of you who didn't play the first version, worry not, as the "plus" version will also have the first full game as well. New Metal Gear ready from Apple's Japanese App store

Konami games development has seen another release for iPhone users, as well as Android. To mark the 25 anniversary of the series, a new Metal Gear game called "Metal Gear Solid Social Ops" is ready and waiting at Apple's Japanese App store as of right now. I actually posted about this back in August of this year, here is the link in case you missed it. It seems this year is Metal Gear madness year, and why not?, the more the merrier I say. Now Social Ops isn't quite the Metal Gear game you might be used to. It's more in line with Metal Gear Acid, 2 "card based" hit titles that were released on the PSP some years ago. This one is similar in respects because it is also card based on the cards you receive as you make your way through the game.

As it currently stands right now, only Japanese owners will enjoy this title so far, and there is no mention as to whether or not Konami plans to bring it out worldwide. But that is likely going to happen, as there never was a mention that only the Japanese version will ever see the light of day. Check out the video and image below and see if this particular Metal Gear is going to help make your Christmas a tad bit better this year.
