Here in North America, Arcades are pretty much all but vanquished. In Japan however, they are still thriving quite a bit. It's been said that it needs an overhaul even with that, and this is where the Konami come into play. Remember a while back there was a Konami game unleashed called Road Fighters?, Road Fighters is compatible with a new type of payment system that Konami has introduced to arcade gamers alike. It is called “Paseli” payment service, similar to a points card service only with Paseli, you create an account and buy, manage and use credits from it for your game. Konami's intention with this whole operation is to make Konami games of this type more useful to gamers and create more game use time, thereby increasing profits. Sounds like a nifty idea.
