Both Konami and Capcom have forced removal of tracks from Greatest Video Game Music II

An excellent new video game music album is fixing to hit market, that is, minus about 3 game music tracks. Recently Konami and Capcom have forced the removal of song tracks from the upcoming Greatest Video Game Music II. Among those 3 song titles include Castlevania, Metal Gear, and Street Fighter 2. A symphonic poem would have been done for Castlevania, Street Fighter getting a symphonic suite, while Metal Gear gets the Snake Eater song. The new album has reissued a new track lineup for itself now, minus those cool songs we all hoped would make it in.

The reason behind the removal?, Capcom and Konami had a rights refusal issue with the matter and the 3 tracks were asked to be taken out before its final release. You can see the new track listing below and what will now be included in the new album.

• Diablo III - Overture
• Batman: Arkham City - Main Theme
• Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Icarus Main Theme
• Fez - Adventure
• Portal - Still Alive
• Little Big Planet - Orb Of Dreamers (The Cosmic Imagisphere)

There isn't a whole lot of information as to why exactly Konami and Capcom wanted the tracks removed, but as more is known, I'll post about it here. The Greatest Video Game Music II album is still set for a scheduled release of November 6th, with no mention of change known as of right now.

Castlevania OST music downloads with detailed info are right at your fingertips

Decent Castlevania ost music download sites are somewhat common, but I like to cherry pick the best ones I can find out there that have the best video game music just to save visitors a step or two. The site ChapelofResonance may be familiar to some of you but for those of you who don't know it, it's a very informative site dedicated to the Castlevania game series. This site is extreamly informative and very in depth to this particular Konami game and of course it also features Castlevania ost music downloads for almost every Castlevania game ever created. This is quite an impressive layout. They even have rips to Castlevania games if your into that sort of thing too. There is even a separate article detailing the storyline for most every Castlevania you can find out there. So put your headphones on and give them a look. You won't regret it.
